Summary

K-Typing has no accounts and no server that stores your data. Your progress and settings stay in your own browser. This page explains what data is involved when you use K-Typing, including advertising.

Data stored in your browser

K-Typing saves your settings (input mode, language, theme, sound), best records, daily practice time and completed sets in your browser’s local storage under the key "k-typing:v1". This data is never sent to us.

You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

K-Typing itself does not set cookies and does not use analytics tools.

Pronunciation and keyboard features

Pronunciation is played with your browser’s built-in speech feature (Web Speech API). Depending on your browser and operating system, the selected voice may be provided by an online service of the browser or system vendor, which then processes the Korean text being spoken. Only that text is involved.

To show the letters printed on your own keyboard, K-Typing may read your keyboard layout from the browser. This happens only on your device.

Hosting

K-Typing is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare may process standard connection data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the site.

Advertising

K-Typing uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
